Day 2   City tour and dinner at Eugenia’s. Overnight stay in Palermo

Day 3   City tour and drive to Valguarnera for overnight stay

Day 4   Piazza Armerina: visit to Villa del Casale (Roman mosaics).

Drive to Caltagirone and visit to the Museum of Ceramics. Overnight stay in Caltagirone

Day 5   Drive to Syracuse: visit Ortigia, the Greek remains and tragedy at the Greek Theatre (May/June).

Overnight stay in Syracuse

Day 6   Return to Palermo (option B visit the necropolis of Pantalica and overnight stay in Syracuse)

Day 7   Departure day (option B from Catania)
