UNESCO  World Heritage Sites in Sicily

Sicily, with its treasures of historical, cultural and natural importance, boasts seven sites listed in the UNESCO World Heritage: archaeological area of Agrigento,  Villa Romana del Casale, Aeolian Islands, late Baroque towns of the Val di Noto, Syracuse and the Rocky Necropolis of Pantalica, Mount Aetna. Last gem of the UNESCO Heritage is Arab-Norman Palermo and the cathedral churches of Palermo and Monreale listed in 2015.
